Release Notes

DaemonX 1.1.c

This version contains the module for the support of integrity constraints in UCL.
UCL (Universal Constraint Language) is a language based on well-known OCL (Object Constraint Language).
  • Users can express integrity constraints in UCL over UML models and over XML models.
  • Then it is possible to create a mapping from elements in a UML model to elements in an XML model.
  • Thanks to this mapping, it is possible to derive UCL constraints over a UML model to UCL constraints over a mapped XML model.
  • Then the derivation from UCL constraints over an XML model to Schematron rules is implemented.
Sample examples are included.

Version DaemonX 1.1.c contains modeling plug-ins for:
  • PIM model, PSM Databases, PSM UML Class and States diagrams, PSM XML, PIM process (BPMN)
evolution plugins:
  • PIM to PSM Databases, PIM to PSM XML, PSM XML to PIM, UML to PSM XML (this plug-in only created mappings for the derivation of OCL constraints from UML to XMS)
UCL model plug-ins (they define support of UCL constraints for modeling plug-ins)
  • UCL-model for UML, UCL-model for PSM XML
UCL translating plug-ins
  • UCL over PSM XML to Schematron

A UML model and an XSEM model.

A directed mapping from elements of the UML model to elements of the XSEM model. The mapping must be created by a user.

Constraints windows.
